How to Help Israel Gaza Approved

Chairman of Red Crescent North Sinai, Egypt, Gen. (Retd.) Osama Serghani, all foreign aid to Gaza must pass through Egypt Crescent and then handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent. 

"According to the agreement of the Egyptian government,
Palestine and Israel, not everyone is allowed to enter Gaza, and all humanitarian assistance must go through the Egyptian Red Crescent and then turn them over to the Palestinians together through the Palestinian Red Crescent or related party of Palestine, "said Osama Serghani in Rafah, the Egyptian-Gaza border gate , Sunday, 01/02/2011), told reporters on ABC, Munawar Saman Makyanie.


Crescent chaired by Egypt's First Lady, Suzanne Mubarak, who never give humanitarian assistance to earthquake victims in Padang, West Sumatra, through the Embassy in Cairo.


In line with General Serghani, the Embassy in Cairo also felt the same difficulty when seeking the parties from Indonesia who insisted on entering Gaza to provide direct assistance to Palestinians.


"Already many people from Indonesia, both organizations and individuals insisted directly into Gaza from Egypt, but the procedure is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand," said Chief Political Function Embassy in Cairo, Burhanuddin Badruzzaman, in Rafah.


Burhanuddin pointed out, there are several parties who had come to Egypt to enter Gaza, but they float in Egypt for weeks finally came back to Indonesia despite already cultivated by the Embassy.


Meanwhile, Ambassador to Egypt, AM Fachir and entourage also invited the Governor of North Sinai, Murad Muafik, to bersilaturrahim in his office and followed by a banquet lunch.
