Why More and More and Wise Age Goes Up

Attitude wise attached to the parent it can be proved scientifically.

Maybe you often ponder pondered parental attitudes often shown? Those who already have the old age typically become more wise and prudent and care about each other. Want to know why?

Attitude wise attached to the parents themselves could actually be proved scientifically by researchers at the United States, namely empathy someone will increase when he was more uphill.

Researchers have found the peak of 'emotional intelligence' occurs after the age of 60 years. That's why older people are sensitive to each other than people that his young age. They are also better able to find the positive side when facing stressful situations. So it is no wonder that people aged dusk often have a different perspective and focus more on interpersonal relationships.

As quoted from page Mail Online, scientists believe that humans will develop the full commitment to each other towards the end of their lives. 'The older, they are more concerned with social relationships, "said Professor Robert Levenson, a psychologist from the University of California at Berkeley.

"Evolution seems to have been composed in our nervous system is the optimal way for this type of activity and mutual interpersonal increases with age."

In the study, the scientists compared 144 healthy adults. They are divided into several groups, ranging from their 40s 20s and 60s. Then, they were asked to watch videos neutral, sad, and "disgusting."

Participants were asked to take apart and objective attitude, showing no emotion, or focus on the positive aspects of what they see.
The findings are published in the journal Psychology and Aging showed it easier for parents to see the scene in a positive negative. This is a coping strategy that is recognized based on life experience and learning from the past.

Instead, young and middle-aged participants more divert attention from the films that are not pleasant.
In another study, published in the journal Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, Berkeley scientists using the same method to test the sensitivity of grief.

A total of 222 healthy adults in the state, 40s 20s and 60s were viewing the emotional film. Electrodes are attached to the skin record their physiological responses. The older participants showed more sadness in response to the film when compared with their counterparts younger ones.

"The older the age, individuals often adopt different perspectives and objectives that focus more on close interpersonal relationships," said lead researcher Dr. Benjamin Seider.

Seider added, "As such, they become increasingly sensitive to the sadness, because sadness shared experience leads to greater intimacy in interpersonal relationships."

Professor Levinson suggests that heightened sensitivity to pain does not indicate an increased risk of depression. In fact, it is a healthy sign.

"Grief can be emotionally very meaningful and helpful in living the old days, because grief can increase the sense of empathy for others," he said. (Pet)
