U.S. House of Representatives Member Shot

Democratic politician was shot in the head. Five people were killed with him directly 
 
Members of the United States House of Representatives, Gabrielle Giffords, was shot in the head outside a store in Arizona on Saturday 8, January 2011, local time Sunday, January 9, 2011, West Indonesia Time. The 40-year-old woman became one of ten people were injured in the deadly action. 


Members of Parliament from the Democratic Party was shot while holding a meeting with supporters. Then someone opened fire on the crowd so that five people were killed and several others wounded. 


Giffords then rushed to the hospital. Although a bullet lodged in his head, the hospital said "optimistic" colleague separtai U.S. President Barack Obama will be recovered. The hospital also said, one of five who was killed was a 9-year-old child. 


U.S. Marshal also states, a federal judge was seriously injured from the shooting action. While CJ Karamargin, a spokesman for Giffords, said, not knowing how many men were wounded politician. An official with the House simply stated, a Democratic staff were killed and the President of the United States claimed five people were killed in the incident. 


Obama's own reaction is very fast. On national television, Obama expressed his sadness over the incident. Police in the capital and then ask each member of the U.S. Congress to improve the security itself. 


"I was shocked with a callous attack on members of Congress member Gabrielle Giffords and her staff," said Chairman of the new U.S. House of Representatives, John Boehner. "The attack on the person being served in the state is an attack on all those who serve." 


Police said the shooter had been arrested and identified as Jared Loughner, 22 years old. A police officer called him using a gun to shoot the crowd. 


Action intention was not clear. But on his MySpace account, there is a mysterious message "Congratulations Comrades Road" published every few hours before the shooting.
