Danger Too Old Watch TV

This risk also applies to those who diligently exercising.

Be careful if you are fond of watching TV or playing computer games. When every day you spend an average of four hours sitting in front of the screen, the risk for heart disease and premature death, increased.

The findings are published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology is also mentioned something very surprising anymore. The risk that remains in force for those who had been undergoing regular exercise, as quoted from page Daily Mail.

Dr Emmanuel Stamatakis, of University College London's Department of Epidemiology and Public Health said, "Our analysis shows, glued to the TV screen and the computer two hours or more every day, can put someone at greater risk for heart disease."

This is the first time research done, which examines the relationship between television viewing duration and heart attacks. After the results were analyzed, the duration of watching television for too long will increase the risk of sudden death.

While the risk of heart attack increases to 125 percent in people who spend up to four hours a day in front of the screen.

The results also revealed that this risk also applies to those who would rather spend the time to sit down, for example, workers who daily sit in the chair. The risk was independent of the influence factors of smoking, welfare and even sports.

Dr Stamatakis said: "This risk can not be prevented by exercise. These findings underscore the urgent need for public health recommendations."

The reason for the emergence of an increased risk of heart attack was probably due to sitting too long the effect would be associated with increased cholesterol. (Pet)
