Indonesian Champion Award Googlies Southeast Asia

The growth of SMEs which started advertising on Google's platform increased significantly.

Google's advertising sales agent from Indonesia, has just won the award DGtraffic Googlies 2010 Event Award for its success in socializing the Google AdWords program among Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia.

DGtraffic own claims as the first Indonesian company partner with Google that get the Google Advertising Certified Partner. The company, founded by Herman Chang in the mid 2008's, now has a lot of big clients who advertise on Google's platform, like Nokia, LG, HP, and XL Axiata.

DGtraffic himself admitted that their biggest revenue came mostly from multinational companies. "85-90 percent of our revenue comes from the global brand," said Andi.

However, the growth of SME clients who begin advertising also increased significantly according to him. Now, DGtraffic confessed to socialization to about 1000 SMEs in Indonesia through seminars in various regions.

SMEs are starting to advertise through Google's own platform, Andi said, came from various areas of business. Among other businesses ranging from food, clothing, furniture, home design services, to the party rental equipment. "Now, carpenters meatballs were already goes Google," said Andi.

He claimed that Google's platform is a platform that is powerful enough to market the products of SMEs are right on target. Because, says Andi, now Internet users are usually doing research via the internet search engines before making a purchase offline.

Advertise on Google's platform not only make their products appear in various internal service owned by Google, YouTube, but also on network sites affiliated with Google AdSense to social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Friendster, Hi-5, or LinkedIn.

"We can not claim that advertise through us is the cheapest, but we dare to claim that advertising on this platform is the most efficient in terms of cost (cost-effective)," he said, stirring with a promotion.
